Fixed and Mobile Plant Maintenance
Monadelphous provides the multi-disciplinary services required to keep a plant fully maintained and operational. Our services include pre-planning, procurement, scaffolding, rigging, civil, electrical and instrumentation, welding and fitting for routine, preventative and breakdown maintenance.
With extensive experience in delivering long-term maintenance contracts, we work with our customers to ensure optimal plant productivity through effective maintenance planning, resorting and management.
Minor and Sustaining Capital Works
We have extensive experience in performing minor plant upgrades and capital works projects where a need has been identified to improve safety or increase plant performance. Our Maintenance and Industrial Services teams undertake all aspects of these projects, from constructability through to commissioning and handover.
Shutdown Planning, Management and Execution
Monadelphous has an excellent record for successfully executing shutdowns, including the complete dismantling of major plant items through to recommissioning. By collaborating with our customer in pre-planning stages we ensure a successful conclusion to each shutdown.
Having undertaken major shutdowns across Australia, we have developed an extensive database of highly skilled trades and supervisory personnel who regularly work for us and who are accustomed to working in the shutdown environment. With safety as the number one priority, our experienced Shutdown Managers and their teams have established a reputation for bringing plants back to full operation, on time and within budget.
Dragline and Shovel Shutdowns, Maintenance and Erection
Monadelphous offers specialist dragline and shovel shutdowns, maintenance and erection services. We developed our extensive experience in the execution of dragline and shovel shutdowns through the acquisition of a specialist Hunter Valley based provider, Ellavale Engineering. Ellavale, with their expert knowledge, systems and equipment is now fully integrated into our Maintenance and Industrial Services team.
We own specialist tooling and equipment for dragline and shovel jacking including a range of hydraulic jacks and stands, along with a flat jack system. All levelling and alignment is performed using a laser machine level and laser coupling alignment equipment.

Electrical and Instrumentation Services
Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division offers a total maintenance solution, including the provision of specialist electrical and instrumentation services. Each of our regional operations employs experienced electrical and instrumentation professional and trades personnel who are embedded in our multi-disciplinary maintenance teams. We can also offer National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) certified laboratory and site based testing through our wholly owned electrical and instrumentation subsidiary, MIE.
Concrete and Structural Remediation
Monadelphous provides specialist services in the areas of concrete remediation, specialist coatings, grout repair, joint repair and waterproofing as well as concrete integrity surveys. To prevent the potentially disastrous implications of structural deterioration, we work closely with our customers to ensure that regular checks of concrete structures form part of the overall maintenance program.
Labour Hire
Monadelphous Workforce is a specialist supplier of engineering, trades and semi-skilled personnel. With a database of more than 40,000 personnel, we are well equipped to supply labour for a wide variety of projects and contracts. Health and safety is a top priority for our labour hire service and individuals undergo rigorous safety education and induction courses prior to mobilising to work sites.
Equipment Fleet
Monadelphous has one of the largest fleets of mobile equipment available in Australia. Our fleet includes extensive cranage, site vehicles, elevated work platforms and mobile welding equipment. By owning these assets we have the flexibility to quickly allocate resources, offering unparalleled project support.
