Monadelphous has a strong reputation for the safe and reliable delivery of engineering construction and maintenance services to the coal industry.

We provide comprehensive structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation services, as well as specialist dragline and shovel shutdown, maintenance and erection services.

Monadelphous entered the coal market with two projects in New South Wales in 1991 for the supply, manufacture and installation of coal bins and associated mechanical works. Our first coal maintenance contract was in 2000 and resulted in the purchase of our Muswellbrook facilities in NSW.

Following this, Monadelphous was awarded further projects at coal mines and terminals in New South Wales and Queensland.
