Project description
Monadelphous is delivering construction and maintenance of infrastructure for Albemarle Corporation‘s lithium hydroxide conversion plant at the Kemerton industrial area in the South West region of Western Australia.
Scope of work
Contracts include:
- 2023-2023 - Utilities and reagents works with scope including tanks, pumps, pipework, and electrical cabling and termination. Front-end pyromet structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works associated with construction of additional lithium processing trains 3 and 4.
- 2023 - Two five-year contracts for the provision of maintenance services and sustaining capital projects, both with two-year extension options.
- 2019-2022 - For the construction phase of the project, Monadelphous delivered a pyromet structural, mechanical and piping package of work, as well as associated electrical and instrumentation services and piping fabrication for the construction of processing trains 1 and 2.
