Project Description

Under an existing contract with Alcoa, and in collaboration with the Engineering Construction division’s Heavy Lift business, the division secured and completed the Crusher Relocation project, which included the relocation of Alcoa’s 850 tonne primary crusher from their Willowdale site in the south west region of Western Australia to a new crushing location 16 kilometres away. 

Scope of Work

UThe package of work, which took place over a six-day period in March 2021, involved disconnecting and moving the crusher via self-propelled modular transporters along onsite haul roads before reconnecting it at its new crushing location.
