Lubrizol began construction of a new polyisobutylene (PIB) unit at its Deer Park facility in 2017. The new unit is expected to be fully operational in the first half of 2019. It will provide Lubrizol with capacity for highly reactive polyisobutylene (HR PIB), a key raw material for next-generation dispersants and lubricants.
SinoStruct, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Monadelphous, was awarded a contract in Texas, Pasedena which consists of a large Petrochemical Expansion project in Deer Park on the US Gulf Coast and will be supported through our Houston facility in Pasadena, Texas and is expected to be completed in the first half of the 2018 calendar year.
Scope of Work
SinoStruct is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Monadelphous Group delivering reliable, high quality, value for money fabricated and modularised steelwork from offshore locations to Australia. SinoStruct specialises in heavy plate work, piping and large scale structural fabrication for the resources, energy and infrastructure industries globally.
The scope awarded to SinoStruct included 1,500 tonnes of structural steel and shop fabricated spooling (over 90,000 diam inches) and 25 pre-assembled modular pipe racks. The project is supported by SinoStruct's Houston facility in Pasadena, Texas.
