The Monash Freeway Upgrade is part of the $5.5 billion Western Distributor Project which aims to increase the reliability and safety of Victorian roads.
The Monash Freeway Upgrade consists of the 44km of road between Chadstone and Pakenham.
The project includes:
- Widening the freeway from four to five lanes each way between the EastLink interchange and South Gippsland Freeway
- Widening the freeway from two to three lanes each way between the South Gippsland Freeway and Clyde Road in Berwick
- New and upgraded freeway ramp signals
SinoStruct a wholly-owned subsidiary of Monadelphous, were awarded the supply and fabrication of 73 off gantry freeway signs, totalling 1,400 tonnes, including portals, cantilevers and trusses.
Scope of Work
SinoStruct is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Monadelphous Group delivering reliable, high quality, value for money fabricated and modularised steelwork from offshore locations to Australia. SinoStruct specialises in heavy plate work, piping and large scale structural fabrication for the resources, energy and infrastructure industries globally.
SinoStruct's scope comprised of the supply of 73 off gantry freeway signs, totalling 1,400 tonnes, including portals, cantilevers and trusses.
