Project description
The construction of the Coal export terminal including a train load-out facility, overland conveyor, stockyard, underground reclaim tunnels, surge bin, jetty with load out conveyor, wharf and shiploader.
Scope of work
The construction and commissioning of a ship loader associated with the WICET project responsible for all civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and all services works associated with manufacture, installation and commissioning of the ship loader.
This included the supply of materials, manufacture, protective treatments, workshop testing, offsite pre-assembly where required, onsite installation and hook up and final commissioning of the ship loader.
Scope of work included:
- Manufacture
- Protective treatment
- Workshop testing
- Offsite pre-assembly and commissioning
- Delivery to site
- Onsite installation/hook-up and completion of commissioning for all Shiploader SL1 concrete
- Structural

Supply scope included all mechanical items including:
- Fabrication
- Protective treatment
- Assembly and factory acceptance testing of nominated spare parts
